Amazing experience and place to visit
On Dec 5, 2016 I ordered 7 wreaths to be placed on specific graves. 6 for relatives buried in NY and 1 for my father who is buried here in Arizona at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona. Wreaths were supposed to be placed on Saturday Dec 17. Brought my mother to see the wreath on my father’s grave on the afternoon of Sat Dec 17 and no wreath. Figured maybe they didn't get to finish on Saturday so I went back on Sunday Dec 18 and still no wreath. Sent a few emails to customer service with the order # and not one response. Not sure if the volunteers just placed them where they wanted but a few rows over from my father’s grave nearly the entire row had wreaths with only a few scattered throughout the rest of the section. We had to go buy a wreath to be placed on the grave when we visited it on Christmas Eve. Now I'm leery as to whether or not the wreaths were even placed on graves back in NY.
Surprisingly large and comprehensive museum. Tour guides are friendly, thorough and helpful. Recommended for anyone who wants to better understand the experiences of our veterans and current service people and their families.
Amazing place. It just isn't about wreaths, is shows why they need to do what it is that they do. A great place to get to know your hero's. Would recommend to everyone! Thank you!
